Traffic Count Data

LCATS currently completes a series of county wide traffic counts each year. For those not familiar with Traffic counts the following may be useful:

Raw Count

The number of vehicles that crossed the count location in a 24-hour period

Seasonal Adjustment Factor (SAF)

A correction factor provided by ODOT to account for altered traffic patterns through the year

Annual Adjusted Daily Total (AADT)

The product of the Raw Count and SAF, this number is the average number of vehicles traveling on a road
