"Christmas in July" Hog Roast Transportation Visioning Meeting held July 25, 2006

On Tuesday July 25, 2006 the Licking County Area Transportation Study held an informal
information gathering session at the Bryn Du Mansion in Granville Ohio. The purpose of this
meeting was to kick-off the start of the new Long Range Transportation Plan.
Those in attendance were given $1,000,000 of play money, three sticky dots and index cards to provide
input to the LCATS staff. Participants voted on which area of transportation they
felt needed the most improvement by using the play money. According to the money spent, the participants prioritized
these five areas of interest:
1) Expansion, 2) Preservation, 3) Transit, 4) Rail, and 5) Non-Motorized.
Each individual placed three dots on a map according to where they felt the greatest
traffic problems exist, and the index cards were used for free form public comments.

The following items show the results of their participation.
